Real Madrid coach Zinedine Zidane has refused to shut the door on moving for PSG star Kylian Mbappe.
Ronaldo Nazario noted that great players have the freedom to determine their own future and choose where to play.
"In the end yes, I think that's how Ronaldo said it," Zidane said.
"I think the same thing, but everyone has a contract and it's not good to get involved in the things of players who are not yours, but I think the same."
The Real Madrid boss was asked about the potential renewals of Sergio Ramos and Lucas Vazquez, as well as reports that a deal is all but wrapped up for David Alaba to join on a free.
"It has nothing to do with it. Sergio and Lucas have been playing for Madrid for a long time," Zidane said when asked if it bothers him that they haven't renewed.
"They are always ready and focused. The rest will be seen in the future."
Another player who could be allowed to depart this month is Alvaro Odriozola.
"Anything can happen until January 31," Zidane stated.
"Look at Jovic. But I love all my players very much and I will rely on all of them. Then if something happens, we'll see."
