Real Madrid coach Zidane spies Castilla whizkid as Isco replacement

Real Madrid coach Zinedine Zidane feels they can promote from within to replace Isco.

The Spain international is being encouraged to leave Real Madrid this summer after falling off the first team map this season.

At 29, Isco is prepared to depart and has instructed his agent to sound out interested clubs, reports AS via Le 10 Sport.

And rather than buy a replacement, both Zidane and his coaching staff believe they can promote from within to fill the void.

Sergio Arribas, 19, has been identified as the Castilla prospect good enough to step in for Isco for next season.

The youngster has worked his way into Zizou's first team plans since the New Year and his form and commitment has impressed the senior coach.

So far this season, Arribas has managed eight LaLiga appearances and played twice in the Champions League. The midfielder has a deal with Real Madrid due to expire in June.
