Real Madrid coach Zidane: Osasuna draw should never have been played

Real Madrid coach Zinedine Zidane blasted authorities after their 0-0 draw with Osasuna.

Zidane's side were far from their best in Pamplona and the coach's changes didn't work either, but the Frenchman doesn't believe that the game should have gone ahead at all.

"We've handled it badly, we did what we could on this pitch," Zidane said. "It wasn't a football match. We don't know when we're going to return [to Madrid].

"It wasn't a football match. It should have been suspended. But it's already in the past now.

"The conditions weren't right for a match. I'm repeating myself, but that's how it is."
