Real Madrid coach Zinedine Zidane refused to talk striker signings after their 0-0 draw with Athletic Bilbao.

After the exit of players like Alvaro Morata, James Rodriguez and Mariano Diaz in the summer, some have wondered whether the lack of depth in Zidane's squad is behind that.

Instead, he insisted that the answer can be found on the training pitch.

"The solution is to work," said Zidane.

"There's no need to think beyond that.

"Things aren't working out and you have to keep working, that's what's important.

"You have to think that we will have more opportunities, that's all."
