Real Madrid coach Zinedine Zidane is moving for Arsenal striker Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang.
The Daily Express says Zidane has informed Aubameyang of his summer transfer plans, telling him that he is, indeed, a target for the La Liga giants, just not a priority signing.
The Los Blancos boss has told Aubameyang that he is only a plan B, he would prefer to bring in the younger Erling Haaland, of Borussia Dortmund, and Liverpool's Sadio Mane.
The Gunners striker is on the radar of several clubs across Europe as he enters the final year of his contract at the Emirates.
The Gabon international has already scored 20 goals in all competitions for Mikel Arteta's side this season, and Zidane is looking to bring in a forward to the Santiago Bernabeu next window, to replace the so-far lacklustre Luka Jovic, who has only been able to bag himself two goals all season in his inaugural campaign.
Should Real make a play for Aubameyang they will have to fend off interest from Manchester United and Barcelona who, too, have their eye on the Arsenal ace.
