Real Madrid coach Zidane explains Courtois absence

Real Madrid coach Zinedine Zidane says Thibaut Courtois won't face Huesca due to injury.

There is talk of the goalkeeper leaving at the end of the season as Zidane favours Keylor Navas.

The coach stated: "He's not in a good way and that's why he didn't train. He's got a problem with his right rectus femoris, there's some discomfort there and we'll have a look at it now.

"The doctors need to see exactly how long he'll be out for. As the coach, I'm not going to take any risks with players who feel any discomfort. He played for his national team and I think that he'll be out for just a few days, but he won't be available for tomorrow.

"I understand that because you've got to have something to talk about. We've got 10 games to go and that's the only thing we've got to focus on as we try and finish the season strongly. I'm not going to speak on behalf of my players, who are under contract, and you've got to respect that. They fight and battle and have to be respected."
