Real Madrid coach Zinedine Zidane has moved to block a sale of one of his player.

Lucas Vazquez has offers from across Europe to leave Real next month, with Roma chief Monchi particularly keen.

However, Don Balon says Zidane is reluctant to lose the midfielder, despite the player's playing frustrations.

Zidane has played Lucas in midfield and at right-back in both the Champions League and LaLiga happily exploiting his versatility.

And while he can't guarantee the midfielder a regular game, Zidane is determined to block any plans of a departure for Lucas in January.
