Real Madrid coach Zinedine Zidane was delighted with their 4-0 thrashing of Alaves.
Goals from Cristiano Ronaldo, Gareth Bale and Karim Benzema saw the defending Spanish champions ease to victory on Saturday afternoon and the French coach was rewarded for trusting in the BBC trio.
"We might have difficult moments, but the players are the very top, the best there are," he explained in his post-match press conference.
"The most important thing is the atmosphere in the dressing room, we are very strong.
"Cristiano Ronaldo showed this with his beautiful gesture to let Benzema take the penalty."
Gareth Bale's reaction to being left out against Leganes on Wednesday has been replayed the world over, yet the Welshman responded well with a fine display against Alaves, something which Zidane noted.
"We want to see our best players at their very best," he intimated.
"Bale has done very well, he has played 90 minutes in a position that he hasn't been in lately.
"It's been a good day for him to play on the left."
