Real Madrid coach Zidane defiant after Valencia win: I won't change

Real Madrid coach Zinedine Zidane was defiant after their 4-1 win at Valencia on Saturday.

Two penalties from Cristiano Ronaldo set Los Blancos on their way, although it must be noted that Valencia were surprisingly poor in comparison to their performances throughout the campaign.

"I will always be questioned, every day, but I won't change," Zidane explained in his post-match press conference.

"I will continue working in the way I have.

"We must congratulate everyone involved today."

Rotation has been problematic for the former Juventus midfielder this term, and injuries to key senior figures haven't always made this possible, however Zidane feels his team are approaching their physical peak.

"We're physically very good, sometimes it's more psychological than physical," he intimated.

"I'm very happy with our performance; we played the game very well tactically.

"We deserved the victory, especially for our start to the match."
