Real Madrid coach Zidane: Bayern Munich good for Odriozola; Vinicius Jr improving

Real Madrid coach Zinedine Zidane says Alvaro Odriozola's loan move to Bayern Munich was good for all parties.

Odriozola joined Bayern Munich on loan earlier in the week, and Zidane felt it was best for the player.

He said, "I talked with him and we decided together that this was an opportunity for him to play matches.

"I hope everything goes well for him. He is lovely, we count on him and he will have his chance.

"Now I hope everything goes well for him."

Vinicius Jr has shown glimpses of his quality this season but hasn't managed to gain consistency.

"We have to be calm with [Vinicius], he is just 19 years old.

"But he must be ambitious. If someone does not get in the squad it is because we have very important players.

"We are happy with everyone."
