Real Madrid coach Zinedine Zidane is ready to jump before being pushed.

Don Balon says Zidane accepts it's time to leave Real and will agree to walk away from Madrid at the end of the season.

The Frenchman is already drawing up plans for his next move - and has his eyes on his national team.

Zidane has been in contact with French Football Federation president Noel Le Graet and is a confirmed candidate to succeed Didier Deschamps after the World Cup.

"That is a logical continuation," Le Graet said earlier this season.

"It is likely that one day he will be interested."
