Real Madrid coach Santiago Solari was happy to hand Isco a second-half chance in victory over Valencia.

One of the biggest moments of the evening was the return of Isco, having been left out in midweek, and journalists pushed Solari to know what was said before he came on as a second half substitute.

"I told him to be decisive when we were in possession, I'm satisfied with him and with everyone," the coach outlined.

There was also praise for Marcos Llorente, who made his first LaLiga Santander appearance of the season.

"He's fantastic, that's how you play against compact and strong teams," Solari enthused.

"The big teams play many competitions, many games and it's important that every player is good, happy and available.

"Marcos has done that and is at the level for the two big games he has played in."
