Real Madrid coach Santiago Solari was delighted with Vinicius Junior's performance for their Copa win over Girona.
The teenage winger combined impressively with Karim Benzema on the night for the 4-2 first leg quarterfinal win.
Solari said, "He's had a great growth since he came in. He showed things before, he showed here, before in Castilla and now in the first team, and also with continuity, he has a lot to grow and learn, he's 18 years old, but he brings a lot freshness and a lot of daring.
"He faces up and is a constant danger, he has been demonstrating it every game, I hope he continues on this path, he has the support of the mature players of the squad, who are always the basis of every sporting project."
