Real Madrid boss Bernd Schuster was satisfied after their scratchy 1-0 victory over Recreativo Huelva last night.
Wesley Sneijder's first-half goal was enough for Schuster's flagging team to earn three points and lift some pressure off their coach's shoulders.
"There were many things that could have been done better, but perhaps it's not important to explain them," said Schuster. "The result is important, a bit short compared to the good times we've had, but I liked many things.
"No doubt that it was important to win, what happened was that it was not as special as we wanted.
"Gonzalo (Higuain) has a sprained ankle and I hope it's not too serious."
Asked if the victory owed much to president Ramon Calderon's new bonus scheme, Schuster snapped: "I will not talk about these issues. It is an internal affair of the club."
