Real Madrid coach Julen Lopetegui was pleased with the outcome of this week's coach's forum.

The meeting offers Europe's leading coaches the opportunity to exchange views about the issues affecting the continent's club competitions, as well as debating and putting forward suggestions for the benefit of the European game.

Lopetegui said, "It was a forum event at which there were some very interesting debates about new things, with views about what can be improved within the game. It's always really interesting to attend these forums and offer our views. We spoke about our concerns and our common problems and future solutions which could improve some things.

"It's always interesting to attend these forums and to hear the experiences and similar situations at other clubs and see where the game is heading and what direction it might take. I'm sure that there are things that can gradually be changed and everything can be improved on, although it might involve a lot of work. The spirit behind the forum is to improve areas where's there's still room for improvement."
