Bayern Munich fullback David Alaba is back on the agenda of Real Madrid.

The Austria international has been a long-term target for Real president Florentino Perez, who had a bumper offer for him rejected by Bayern a year ago.

Real coach Julen Lopetegui is now seeking a new fullback signing, with the departure of Theo Hernandez to Real Sociedad leaving his squad short.

And Mundo Deportivo says Lopetegui has suggested reviving a move for Alaba with Florentino.

The problem, however, is Real now have less than two weeks to convince Bayern to sell.
