Real Madrid coach Carlo Ancelotti is confident of Vini Jr's commitment.

There's been claims he will seek to leave Real Madrid after Sunday's controversy at Valencia.

Ancelotti said: "Yes, he's very sad, but he knows he has everyone's support, not just Real Madrid. It's unconditional support, even from his rivals.

"He hasn't lost his enthusiasm."

Asked if he regrets not having taken his players off the pitch due to the racist abuse, Ancelotti conceded: "It's something I've thought about, yes.

"I asked the footballer if he wanted to continue and the referee asked him to, so that possibility ended there. But of course it's a possibility. I hope I never have to, there's a referee who's responsible for making that decision. Hopefully, but it's a possibility."
