Real Madrid coach Carlo Ancelotti was pleased with Toni Rudiger and Eden Hazard in defeat to Barcelona.
Raphinha struck the winner for Barca in Las Vegas.
Ancelotti said of Rudiger: "I liked him a lot on the side. I'm not crazy and I know it's not his position, but he's very intelligent. He can play in that position or switch places with (David) Alaba."
On Hazard, he added: "He can play in many positions and he also has to adapt to the false nine position. He needs minutes to improve his condition.
"The squad is tight, we have a lot of players. We have a better squad than last season, the intensity of training has improved...".
