Real Madrid coach Carlo Ancelotti expects to face a different Manchester City in their Champions League semifinals.

Real came out on top in last season's meeting between the two teams before going onto win the final.

Ancelotti said: "They've changed a bit, but they're still very strong and have more individuality, with a striker (Erling Haaland) who scores a lot of goals.

"They haven't completely changed their style, they have such a strong striker that the way they attack changes, but they can play with possession or in transition without problems.

"We have to try to be better than them. We are very close to the final, I don't know if they are the favourites, everything is very balanced. Let's see."
