Real Madrid coach Ancelotti clarifies licence doubts

Real Madrid coach Carlo Ancelotti has confirmed he's clear to continue working in Spain.

It was claimed in Italy that Ancelotti's coaching licence was due to expire, but he has revealed he updated his qualifications in October.

He said, "I am a man who tries to respect the law, I think it was a misunderstanding. I was out of date, but the Spanish federation helped me take a course in October. It was a communication problem. I have to thank the Spanish coaches for doing that course."

Ancelotti also was asked about summer market plans.

He said, "Let's see, there's a lot of time and it's rare to talk now. We're going to have it, we'll talk about it in the next few months.

"It is true that we only have one centre-forward who is (Luka) Jovic, who has not felt very well but has done very well. We have him sometimes, but to improve in that aspect we have to put more players in the area."
