Real Madrid coach Ancelotti: Alvaro Rodriguez now ready; Benzema not injured

Real Madrid coach Carlo Ancelotti says Alvaro Rodriguez will be in tomorrow's squad against Osasuna.

The striker has just completed an outstanding U20 South American Championship campaign with Uruguay.

Ancelotti said: "Yes. He's doing well. He was in the South American U20 and that's why he didn't enter the last calls, but tomorrow he will be.

"He gives us a different profile: tall and powerful."

Ancelotti says he is always managing the games of Karim Benzema.

He also said: "After the World Cup he has done very well. He has scored in almost every game, he has collaborated. And he is not injured: we simply prefer, due to his age, to give him rest. That way he will be fine for the rest of the season."
