Real Madrid are closing a deal for Espanyol striker Joselu.
The veteran, a former Castilla player, will return to Real on-loan for next season, says Marca. Joselu will be allowed to leave after Espanyol's relegation.
Joselu, who has scored 17 goals in 38 games for Espanyol this season, was a market opportunity that Madrid wanted to take advantage of, since they will secure a striker at zero cost while continuing to comb the market for a big name centre-forward signing.
Joselu last played for Castilla 11 years ago before being sold to Hoffenheim for €6m.
