Real Madrid chief Emilio Butragueno says management is delighted with the impact of caretaker coach Santiago Solari.

After victory at Celta Vigo, Solari's status must be decided in the coming days with LaLiga regulations ruling he is either appointed first team coach or is returned to Castilla.

"Santiago Solari? What I can say is that we are very happy with him, that's the truth," said Butragueno.

"His future? We are happy. I think that's a good answer to that question.

"His work is excellent, he has been able to achieve very good results."
