Real Madrid chief Emilio Butragueno has hailed Karim Benzema and the current form he is enjoying.

The French striker was again on the scoresheet for Real's Champions League win at Ajax this week.

And Butragueno says: "You know, Karim is an amazing player.

"The season he is doing for us is exceptional, it is a great satisfaction, because his contribution to the team is fabulous.

"Of course, there's still a big part of the season to go, but seeing Karim playing like this is a real treat."
