Real Madrid Castilla coach Santiago Solari is convinced by the quality of Sergio Diaz.

The Paraguayan whizkid is registered with Castilla, but is expected to be promoted to the first team this season.

Solari, after victory over Leioa, declared: "He has very good conditions, he is a great player with great quality as a youth player.

"We have hope that this process matures him so he can play in the Primera Division.

"Objectively, he is not a pure No9, he is a nine who likes to drop to the sides, drop back to receive and that is where his characteristics are best utilised."
