Real Madrid captain Ramos worried Ceballos will quit for Klopp's Liverpool

Real Madrid captain Sergio Ramos has big concerns they'll lose good friend Dani Ceballos in January.

The midfielder has confessed to Ramos his playing frustrations, which have since been relayed by the captain to president Florentino Perez.

Perez sympathises with Ceballos, whom he regards highly, but will not interfere in coach Zinedine Zidane's selection.

Diario Gol says Liverpool are in touch and eager to to do a deal for the midfielder - either outright or on-loan.

Perez favours a loan arrangement, having brought Ceballos to Real last summer as a long-term successor for Luka Modric. For Liverpool, much will depend on the future of Philippe Coutinho.

If they were to lose him to Barcelona next month, they'd prefer an outright transfer. But either way, Reds boss Jurgen Klopp is eager to work with Ceballos.
