Real Madrid captain Sergio Ramos has been charged by UEFA for deliberately picking up a booking in his side's Champions League win over Ajax.
Ramos was booked late in the game after Madrid took a 2-1 lead. The caution meant he would miss the second leg, to be played at the Bernabeu next week.
The ruling for the Madrid captain will be decided at the next UEFA disciplinary meeting, which will take place later this week.
Last week, Valencia midfielder Geoffrey Kondogbia was handed an additional two-game ban (so three games in total) for a similar action in his side's win over Celtic in the Europa League.
