Real Madrid captain Sergio Ramos is happy for Jordi Alba over his Spain recall.

The Barcelona fullback was surprisingly omitted in the last Spain get-together by new coach Luis Enrique.

"He is one of the best left-backs in the world," Ramos said.

"I'm happy because he's a great friend.

"He can offer us a lot because he is at a great level."
