Real Madrid can cut short the loan of Martin Odegaard at Real Sociedad.
AS says Odegaard opened his account in style this evening against Mallorca at Son Moix to give the txuri-urdin all three points and could have been awarded a penalty.
That will come as pleasing news at Real Madrid, who will be delighted to see the Norwegian midfielder gaining regular playing time and adapting quickly and easily to life in LaLiga.
If he continues at the level he is showing, Madrid could even bring him back early from his loan next season.
Ødegaard is under contract at Real Sociedad for this season with the option of a second year.
If Madrid want Ødegaard back at the Bernabéu for the 2020-21 season, there won't be any problem - they extended the player's contract to 2022 before loaning him out.
