Real Madrid coach Zinedine Zidane says Cristiano Ronaldo is ready to face Champions League opponents Sporting CP.
Ronaldo played his first game of the season on Saturday against Osasuna.
“He's ready to play and the idea is that he'll play the 90 minutes. But anything can happen in a game. I always think about the 60 days that he's been out. That's a lot of time for a player. I speak with Cristiano about other things, not how many minutes he'll play. He always wants to play 90 minutes," said Zidane.
“I'm sure it's a special moment for Cristiano. Sporting is his club, he grew up there so it's to be expected. I know that Cristiano is very professional and when he's on the field he'll give everything. When the referee blows his whistle he'll be focused as always."
