Real Madrid boss Zidane happy maintaining momentum with Eibar thumping

Real Madrid coach Zinedine Zidane was delighted with their rout of Eibar.

Los Blancos are undefeated in their last five games after losing 1-0 to Real Mallorca in mid-October.

Goals from Karim Benzema, Sergio Ramos and Fede Valverde secured a 4-0 win against Eibar on Saturday evening.

"We've worked a lot and we've improved in what we were doing," Zidane told Movistar after the game.

"The match in Mallorca was tough for us but, after that point, we've been more generous and then, with the quality that we have, everything is easier.

"We have to continue because it's going to be hard."

Valverde is enjoying an extended run in the team and his boss is pleased with the work he is doing in the Real Madrid midfield.

"No, he's not a new signing. What he's doing is doing very well when he plays," he said.

"I'm happy for him, but the important thing is that everyone is involved.

"We made three changes from our last game, but nothing changed. The dynamic is good and this is important."
