Real Madrid coach Carlo Ancelotti is keen to bring Fabio Cannavaro back to the club. A position has become open on Ancelotti's staff with Zinedine Zidane being named new Castilla manager.
Marca says Cannavaro is in the frame to fill the void, who is close to Ancelotti.
He's a former player, he knows the club, he has experience and commands great respect from the Madrid faithful and also the players.
