Real Madrid attacker Vinicius Junior was proud of his goalscoring performance for victory over Alaves.

Real won 3-0 on Sunday evening.

Vinicius said, "I'm very happy with the whole team's performance, we played very well and won again at the Bernabéu, we have to keep working to always win and try to win all the competitions at the end of the season".

"I'm relaxed and I listen to my family a lot and the people at the club, who have always helped me to be focused, we have to work hard to continue winning, we'll carry on until the end to continue reducing the deficit at the top."

He continued, "Nobody would imagine that in just six months I would be in the starting line-up, I'm very happy and I want to thank all the players because they've helped me a lot.

"It's our best run since the beginning of the season, we're doing well and have to continue like this, cutting points and resting for the match against Barça. Every player who goes out to play will help and now we have the entire squad available. We'll take that away and we have to work hard to continue playing."
