Real Madrid attacker Vinicius Junior is delighted with his form being recognised.
At Real Madrid, he has been voted Mahou Five Star Player of October. The Brazilian forward earned the award in recognition of his fine performances over the past month, during which he played in all five of Real Madrid's matches and scored four goals with braces against Shakhtar Donetsk and Elche.
The Brazilian has now won the award for the second time this season after picking up the accolade last August. The forward said: "I'm very happy to receive this award, something I've won more than once this season. I would like to thank the fans, who are always behind us. I want to carry on doing things right in order to win games and help the team.
"I feel very good, and so does the whole team. We're doing everything we can to win and play good football. I'm doing all I can to be at my best.
"We have to work hard and recover as soon as possible to be ready for these games, the more difficult ones since the start of the season. We have to be focused on doing the right things and keep going forward."
