Real Madrid attacker Rodrygo Goes was delighted after their 6-0 rout of Real Valladolid.

Rodrygo scored once and produced two assists.

He smiled afterwards, "We didn't do very well in the first ten minutes but then I managed to score and we started to get into the game. It was a great game and I'm very happy to have got the win on a personal level. Let's keep it up!

"I started as an attacking midfielder but then moved to the right wing, which is where my goal and my assist for Karim came from. I don't know if it was my best game, but the truth is that I played very well.

"I always answer this question by saying that I prefer to play as an attacking midfielder but the truth is that it depends on the game. There are games where there is more space on the wings. I think I have the characteristics to play in all these positions and depending on the match I can play wherever the coach wants me to.

"This week was a bit tough for me. I was in a lot of pain because of a knock I picked up playing for Brazil, but I'm fine now. I'm working on it and today it didn't bother me too much and I was able to play normally. I'm going to keep receiving treatment and see if I can be at 100 per cent for the next game."
