Real Madrid attacker Jese Rodriguez is out for the season with a knee injury suffered in their Champions League win over Schalke.
The highly-rated forward was carried off on a stretcher just minutes into the match at the Bernabeu and, after undergoing tests at hospital, Madrid announced the 21-year-old had torn his anterior cruciate ligament.
A medical statement on the club's website read: "After the exploration and scans taken at the Hospital Sanitas La Moraleja, our player Jese Rodriguez has been diagnosed with complete tear of the anterior cruciate ligament of the right knee."
