Real Madrid attacker Eden Hazard has suffered a fresh setback to his troublesome ankle injury.

Cadena SER says Hazard copped several kicks to his ankle during victory against Espanyol and so was missing for the games against Getafe and Athletic Bilbao.

Hazard did not take part in training yesterday. He has been complaining of pain in his ankle in the last 24 hours.

Real meet Alaves on Friday, but the presence of Hazard is unlikely.

This season - his first with Real - has been a career worst for Hazard in terms of missed games.
