Real Madrid assistant coach Davide Ancelotti is being linked with a return to Everton.
Everton are seeking a new manager after the dismissal of Frank Lampard on Monday.
Marca says the 33-year-old Ancelotti, who is No2 to his father Carlo Ancelotti at Real Madrid, is under consideration at Goodison Park.
Davide Ancelotti was also an assistant when his father was manager at Everton.
Ancelotti is not Everton's first choice, but could become relevant if they fail to reach terms with their top two choices Marcelo Bielsa or Sean Dyche.
For his part, Ancelotti is said to be interested in the job at Everton as he feels ready for a manager's position.
