Real Madrid have applied to the RFEF to register Casemiro as a European player.

The Brazil midfielder now legally qualifies as a European and Real have requested RFEF take him off the non-EU list. The same has happened with Costa Rica goalkeeper Keylor Navas.

Real are making room for Vinicius Junior, with the Brazilian joining Real for preseason from Flamengo.

And they hope by applying for Casemiro's EU status an extra non-European signing can be made this summer.
