Barcelona and Real Madrid pocketed a combined €321.8 million (US$357.6 million) of La Liga's broadcast revenues for the 2018/19 season, according to the latest figures published by the organising body for Spanish top two tiers, reports, www.sportspromedia.com/.

La Liga distributed a total €1.42 billion (US$1.58 billion) between its top flight clubs, with champions Barcelona receiving more than €12 million than they did last season, earning €166.5 million (US$185 million).

Real Madrid, meanwhile, were given a share of €155.3 million (US$172.5 million), with cross-city rivals Atletico Madrid receiving €119.2 million (US$132.4 million).

The team who received the least were relegated Huesca, who were paid €44.2 million (US$49.1 million)

50 per cent of La Liga's television money is distributed equally between clubs, with the remaining half divided in two equal parts and allocated based on sporting results over the past five seasons and social influence.
