Real Madrid have allowed Lucas Silva to extend his loan with Cruzeiro for another season.

He will spend another season on loan at Cruzeiro from Real Madrid, the South American club have announced on Twitter.

Silva arrived at Madrid in 2014 for 14 million euros but made little impact before going on loan first to Marseille. Then he went to Sporting where a heart problem was detected and he was sidelines for six months.

In January, 2017, he returned to Brazil and has one goal from eleven games so far.
