Real Madrid ace Eden Hazard insists he doesn't feel any pressure needing to fill the void left by Cristiano Ronaldo.
Hazard only moved to Real Madrid himself in the summer and he's been tipped to replace Ronaldo in the team.
"When I go out on to the pitch, I don't think about the fact that Cristiano was here before me and that I have to do better than him," the Belgian told Le Parisien.
"I'm not going to score more goals than Cristiano Ronaldo, that's for sure, but I will try to bring what I know I can do.
"In fact, the difficult thing when I arrived was that I got injured two or three days before the first [LaLiga Santander] match and I was out for four weeks. This delayed my preparation."
Expectations are high for Hazard, who Real Madrid signed from Chelsea for a fee rising to €150m.
"Transfers are crazy these days," he said.
"A footballer should never cost 100 million, but that's the market [we're in], I'm not thinking about what I cost.
"If I'd have cost five million, I would've played the same way."
