Real Valladolid president Ronaldo Nazario has recalled his time leaving Barcelona for Inter Milan.

Ronaldo also spoke of being influenced by the presidents he played for.

He told Sky Italia: "I had a spectacular year with Barcelona, there was an agreement to renew, then after 4 days the president called me to say it was crazy and he couldn't sign and told me to negotiate with others.

"There was the interest of Inter, who moved quickly and paid the clause. The Italian league was the best at that time and for me it was a great challenge. I miss Italy and the Italians very much, in the last two years I have not managed to get around a lot but I'll be back soon."

Ronaldo also commented on former Inter Milan president Massimo Moratti and Real Madrid's Florentino Perez.

"Moratti was like a father, I have an incredible human relationship. Then Florentino, with his desire to reinvent football with the Galacticos. I learned a lot from all the presidents and above all from these two."
