Real Betis president Haro yet to hear from Barcelona about Moron offer

Real Betis president Angel Haro says they're yet to hear from Barcelona about a deal for Loren Moron.

The striker has been linked with a move to the Camp Nou after the injuries to Ousmane Dembele and Luis Suarez, with Barcelona set to request permission from the Spanish Football Federation to sign a replacement, though Haro has said that no offer has been made.

"No, they have been linked, but they haven't enquired or made us a formal offer for him," Haro told Movistar.

"Rumours, there is talk of the player, but not in a serious way.

"It would be if we had an offer [on the table] for the player, which we don't."

There had been talk of Emerson cutting short his spell at Betis and joining Barcelona, with the Brazilian one-and-a-half years into a two-and-a-half season spell in Seville, but Haro affirms that he will remain at the Estadio Benito Villamarin for the 2020/21 season.

"The relationship between both clubs is very good and we understand that the player will be with us for another year," Haro noted.

"This is what was agreed at the time and, given the conversations we had, if they are maintained, he'll be a player who will be with Betis for another year."
