Real Betis president Angel Haro expects Tottenham to sign permanently on-loan midfielder Giovani Lo Celso.
Estadio Deportivo says when asked about Lo Celso's situation, Haro admitted there is an undeniable benefit for Tottenham to activate the option to buy before it becomes mandatory as part of the deal in the summer, with a significant discount applied.
"Yes they will exercise (the option) because they are not taxed as much as if they have to exercise it in June, when the purchase becomes mandatory," Haro said.
"They may also have to exercise the mandatory [clause].
"We understand that they will exercise it, but if not [we will be] delighted with the player [returning]."
