Real Betis president Angel Haro says new contract talks with Nabil Fekir are on track.

Betis are negotiating a new deal for two or three more years, until 2025 or 2026, which could be formalised in the coming weeks.

"We continue working both the Sports Directorate and the rest of the management so that all the players that we consider important continue with us and we will continue in that line. I am reasonably optimistic," said Haro.

On coach Manuel Pellegrini, Haro also said: "Obviously, he is a very important asset of the club, we value the work he is doing very much. We would like to expand the connection, it does not obsess us, but it is something that we will have to face throughout the season."
