Real Betis president Angel Haro has paid tribute to Joaquin after a special week for the veteran.
The 38 year-old scored a first hat-trick of his career in victory over Athletic Bilbao this weekend - becoming the oldest player to do so in LaLiga history.
Haro enthused: "On Sunday we lived an important moment, we achieved the third consecutive victory, thanks to three goals from this boy who is here, who resists aging and is challenging all the laws of genetics.
"It is very difficult to be at the level he is at this stage of his career and that is because of the effort and commitment he has with the club.
"Sunday was an important day."
