Real Betis have opened talks with Manchester City for Nolito.
Marca says negotiations have kicked off to bring the Spain international back to the LaLiga this summer.
Nolito only moved to City last year from Celta Vigo, but has struggled for first team action - despite being a personal transfer request of manager Pep Guardiola.
The stumbling block is Nolito's salary. Betis hope to take the striker on-loan, with City agreeing to cover a percentage of his salary.
Interestingly, Betis chief Miguel Torrecilla was involved in negotiations to sign Nolito for Celta.
