Real Betis have named Ramon Planes as new sporting director.
Planes has left Getafe to succeed Antonio Cordon as Betis sports chief.
He, also formerly of Barcelona, has signed a contract to 2026.
Real Betis announced today: "Planes has stood out throughout his career for his work in training and attracting talent, a profile that fits perfectly with the club's commitment for the academy and good football.
"Among the names that joined professional football under his direction are prospects such as Ansu Fati, Gavi, Alejandro Balde, Pedri or Ronald Araujo.
"Likewise, he has a special impact on the management of the main elements that intervene in the daily work of the first team and youth football."
