Real Betis are moving for VfB Stuttgart defender Pablo Maffeo.

The former Manchester City stopper moved permanently to Stuttgart last summer, but has struggled to make an impact with his German club.

Mundo Deportivo says Betis have Maffeo under consideration as they seek a new fullback signing.

The defender played first team football in Spain at Girona, where he impressed.

Maffeo left City for VfB in a €10m deal, penning terms to 2023.
